PRAYER-SERIES

Prayer is speaking to God. Prayer is talking to the Heavenly Father. It is having fellowship with Him and expressing our hearts to Him. Prayer is saying to God that we believe Him, that we trust and love Him. Prayer is expressing love to God through the words of our faith. Prayer is exercising, too, the spiritual authority God has given us and
speaking to situations to conform to God’s Word. Prayer is the most powerful weapon our faithful and mighty God has given us. So let us pray and believe and receive in the name of Jesus our Lord and Savior. Pray with the Scripture in your mouth. Pray to God the Father in the name of Jesus the Son of God. Pray without ceasing. Praying with the assistance of the Spirit. Pray and God will hear and answer. Pray and you will see the healings and miracles and signs and wonders you are asking for. Pray and will we be abundantly supplied by his grace.

BIBLICAL PRAYERS FOR THE CHURCH

I thank you Father in the name of Jesus Christ for the faith in the church. (Romans 1:8)

I thank you my God always for the grace of God which was given to the church by Christ Jesus. I thank you that they are enriched in everything by You in all utterance and in all knowledge, so that they come short in no gift, eagerly waiting for the revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ. Lord Jesus Christ, you will confirm them to the end, that they may be blameless in the day of Your coming. (1 Cor. 1:4-8)

Prayer based on Psalm 51

Have mercy upon me, O God, according to Your loving-kindness, according to the multitude of Your tender mercies; blot out my transgressions. Wash me completely from my iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin.For I know my transgressions; and my sin is ever before me. Against You, I have sinned, and done evil in Your eyes; that You might be justified in Your speaking and be clear when You judge.

Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity, and in sin my mother conceived me. Behold, You desire truth in the inward parts; and in the hidden parts You teach me wisdom. Cleanse me with the precious Blood of Jesus the Lamb of God, my Messiah and Saviour, the  Redeemer of my soul, for I confess that Jesus is my Lord and I acknowledge his mighty power and submit to his authority; cleanse me and I shall be clean; wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.
Cause me to hear joy and gladness; the bones You have crushed will rejoice.
Hide Your face from my sins, and blot out all my iniquities.
Forgive me, O God! Forgive me for offending you. Forgive me for sinning against you.
Forgive all my faults. Forgive my sins against all men, against all people.
Forgive my sins against my father and my mother.
Forgive my sins against my brothers and sisters.
Forgive my sins against my whole family.
Forgive my sins against your church.
Forgive my sins against the government.
Forgive because I put my faith on Jesus and his sacrificial death at the Cross:
“He was wounded for our transgression, he was bruised for our iniquities:
the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.” (Isaiah 53:5)

Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a steadfast spirit within me.
Do not cast me out from Your presence, and do not take Your Holy Spirit from me.
Restore to me the joy of Your salvation, and uphold me with a willing spirit.
Then I will teach transgressors Your ways; and sinners will turn back to You.
Deliver me from the guilt of my sins, O God, O God of my salvation; my tongue shall sing aloud of
Your righteousness.

O Lord, open my lips and my mouth shall declare Your praise.
For you do not desire sacrifice, or I would give it; You do not delight in burnt offering.
The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; a broken and a contrite heart, O God, You will not
despise.

Do good in Your good pleasure to your repentant creature, to your humble servant that I am, to
your born-again child. Heal me, restore me, strengthen me, make me new I pray.

(Psalm 51: 1-18)

I WORSHIP GOD Because He Is My Creator

Lord, I worship You as the Creator of heaven and earth. All things made by You and everything You created is good. I praise You for all our beautiful creation. You placed the earth on its foundation so that it can never be moved (Psalm 104:5). Your right hand stretched out the Heavens (Isaiah 48:13). Thank You that You have blessed us with light and dark, sun and rain, food and water, land and sea, trees and flowers, days and seasons.”The heavens are Yours, the earth also is Yours; the world and all its fullness, You have founded them” (Psalm 89:11).

-When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, what is man that you are mindful of him, the son of man that you care for him? You made him a little lower than the heavenly beings and crowned him with glory and honor. You made him ruler over the works of your hands; you put everything under his feet” (Psalm 8:3-6 NIV). I know that “both men and women come from God their Creator” (1 Corinthians 11 :12 TLB). “How many are your works, O LORD! In wisdom you have made them all; the earth is full of your creatures” (Psalm 104:24 NIV).

O Lord, thank You that You created me and gave me life. “You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother’s womb” (Psalm 139:13). I praise You, “for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; marvelous are Your works, and that my soul knows very well” (Psalm 139:14). I praise You for every breath I take and thank You that I was created for good things. Help me to be renewed in the image of You, my Creator (Colossians 3:10 NIV). I know You made me to be so much more than I am now and that You will help me become all You created me to be.

I praise You for the people You have created, each one unique and valuable and carrying in their spiritual DNA a purpose that is distinctive and priceless as well. I am grateful for the potential for good that You have placed within each one. Help me to value others as Your creation and see them the way You do. Thank You, Jesus, that You are “the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation” (Colossians 1:15).

“You are worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honor and power; for You created all things, and by Your will they exist and were created” (Revelation 4:11). I worship You as my Creator and I praise You for all that You have created.

I WORSHIP GOD Because He is My Heavenly Father

Heavenly Father, I worship You this day. I am so grateful that You are not a distant or remote Father, but a close and loving one. You are closer to me than an earthly father ever could be. Your love for me is unconditional and everlasting. I know that no father on earth is perfect, but You are. Thank You that as my Father, You care about what happens to me. You provide for me, teach me, plan for my future, supply all my needs, and because You love me You will never let me get away with disobedience to Your rules. Thank You that “You have given me the heritage of those who fear Your name; and I have inherited great and eternal riches from You
(Psalm 61:5).”LORD, you alone are my inheritance, my cup of blessing You guard all that is mine. The land You have given me is a pleasant Iand. What a wonderful inheritance!” (Psalm 16:5-6 NLT).

Lord, help me to forgive my earthly father for anything he did or did not do. Show me if there is anything I have not forgiven that I am ne: seeing. I don’t want my lack of forgiveness to stand in the way of my intimate relationship with You. As Your child, I long to make You proud. Help me to always do what is pleasing in Your sight. I want to be separate from all that would keep me separated from You (2 Corinthians 6:17-18). Thank You that I have been predestined to be adopted. as Your child through Jesus because it gives You pleasure and it is Your will for my life (Ephesians 1:5). I praise and honor You as my Father God and give thanks always
for all things, especially Your Father’s love (Ephesians 5:20).

Therefore do not be like them. For your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him. In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name.
